Creating a safe environment for children and young people requires more than just knowing the regulations. It requires properly trained people, good tools, and a willingness to learn continuously. That is why one of MinorsFriendly’s most important tasks is to provide training materials that help foster a culture of responsibility and child protection.

Our goal is not to create yet another closed database. We want to build an open space for collaboration where specialists and professionals from different countries can share their knowledge, experience, and the solutions they have developed. We believe that many institutions today face similar challenges and that it is not necessary for each one to start from scratch. Good ideas deserve to be shared, developed, and adapted to local conditions.

The materials published in this section are developed in collaboration with educators, psychologists, legal experts, child protection specialists, educators, chaplains, and institutional administrators. As a result, they combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience and address the real-world problems faced by those who work with children and youth.

We provide you with, among other things:

training programs and scripts,

presentations and teaching materials,

examples of best practices,

analyses of real-life situations and case studies,

procedural templates, forms, and documents,

checklists to facilitate the implementation of standards,

materials for management, educators, and volunteers,

recordings, webinars, and other multimedia resources.

We place special emphasis on practical application. Most of the training courses are based on the analysis of specific situations, as this is precisely how it is easiest to learn to make the right decisions. Child protection is not about the mechanical application of regulations, but rather the ability to anticipate risks, react appropriately, and build relationships based on respect, transparency, and trust.

As the project progresses, the repository of materials will be systematically expanded. We want this to be a dynamic platform that grows through the collaboration of individuals and institutions from various fields and countries. We encourage you to share your own materials, experiences, and solutions that have proven effective in practice. This helps build a shared body of knowledge from which everyone can benefit.

The greatest value of MinorsFriendly lies not in the documents themselves, but in the people willing to collaborate and learn from one another. We believe that, precisely thanks to this international collaborative network, it is possible to create increasingly effective standards for the protection of minors and to support those who, day in and day out, take responsibility for the safety of children and young people.
